Sounds like the only burning out it'll do is the rear diff.

The unanswered question is why dude why? What is your reason? Is this just a experiment or did you have some problems going on?

Interesting. Keep us posted on how it works out -- mpg difference, updates on miles driven (seems like we will finally get a good answer about how far is too far, if that is even a problem at all), other pros/cons, etc.

So, what about the Land Rover name?
What if you are Africa.
Front drive shaft fails.
You toss it in the bushes.

You go to CDL.

You keep driving and driving.
Over rocks.
On trails.
Up mountains.

All the stuff you see in the Rover ads.

As this is a Rover - it should go 1000% over duty rating.
It should go forever on one drive shaft.

IF it does not..
Then we got short changed buying one of these.
