I searched and also looked at both write ups in the how to section. But neither points out the replacement nylock size nuts for the build. I would like to replace anyone know specs on these nuts?

3/8 Fine thread (I just went and checked mine since I have all the pieces lying on the hoist platform because I've got the transfer out) Don't you just love the mix of SAE and Metric fasteners on these things? All the u-joint nuts and bolts are standard while the bolts and nuts on the rotoflex joint are metric.

Home Depot won't. All they have is that size in coarse thread. Or at least mine does.

 

Lowe's might have them in their specialty drawers, make sure they're listed as grade 5 (or higher). I've found that a lot of the big box hardware is about grade 2 (or maybe lower). So I rarely use any of their stuff on something that I'll be driving at highway speeds.
