What size are Sensor Ring Nylock nuts?
Does anyone know what size and thread are the nuts for rear ABS sensor ring on a '98 Disco? I want to gather all the parts for new Rear Rotors before I get started.
Just went through this a week ago........nuts are metric...6 x 1.0.
on mine...the studs screwed out on 3 or 4 of them and because of rust the sensor rings were VERY difficult to remove from the rotor. FYI if i ever do that job again I will buy new sensor rings and studs.........bad news is that you still have to get the old ones apart to save the hub assy! PB blaster and a BFH..........good luck

Thanks for the response. Geesh, I hope they come off OK.
The nuts that come up in a Disco brake search at Atlantic British are 3/8". I wonder what that's about?
Has anyone swapped out regular nuts with split washers (or some other locking washer) for the Nylocks?
