Default o2 sensor "no connectivity"

My Bank 2 Sensor 2 o2 sensor was throwing this code so i cleaned it (the connectors). And the CEL stayed. Got a new o2 sensor and plugged it in and it still wont go away, after a good 10+ start up's and clearing it at autozone. What should i check now. Obviously it must be something to do with the wireing but i dont know where to start. Thanks for any help,

Scott

How many miles on your truck?
I believe that there were some wire harness issues releated to the 02 harness you might want to look into that.

Hey mike,

My truck is a 2000 with around 93,000 miles. thinking back on it, it might be no activity. not real sure. I think when i get a chance i might disconnect all of them then re-connect, maybe its just getting the o2 signal mixed up? Any other information you can give me about the wire harness issue would be great. Thanks mike,

Scott

May want to call a dealer and see if there are any TSB's on this problem.

Hi! My name is erick and I am new at this forum thing. I am totally confused on how to post a question and how to get this "Fast Reply" off. I clicked on it thinking I could click it off or cancel it. Unfortunately, there's not a cancel bottom. So I decided to use it and hopefully you or some one else can help me with this two problems; posting a question and cancelling or turning off the screen for "Fast Reply". I am so sorry but instead of helping you I am asking for help from you.

Sounds like you may have some damage to the harness somewhere upstream of the sensor. Chase it down with a light tester or multimeter.

I changed my O2 sensors (all four of them). I got (no activity) code on one sensor because the connection was not good. I know its in a hard to get place specially the bank 1 sensor 1. Make sure the connectors "click".

EVN137, thanks for your reply. Im getting the code on my bank 2 sensor 2, however i have replaced it. What are the odds that it would somehow get the signal mixed and its actually not the bank 2 sensor 2, but actually another sensor? When i get some free time im going to un-plug them ALL, and re-connect. Thanks again for all the help.

Not a chance, and never heard of the signal crossing over. Those are very specific. With the left O2 precatalyst sensor connector, if you can't get you hand in there to make the connection, like me, just allign it first then use a dowel to push the connectors together. You will hear and feel it "click". The rest of the 02 sensor connectors are pretty benign compared to the one I just mentioned.
