Default O2 sensors and check engine light on 2003 disco

my check engine came on recently and my mechanic advise me i had to replace the both rear sensors. after 100 miles of driving the check engine came on. i posted early on this forum if anyone had experience this with there discos. my mechanic advised that my mass air flow meter was fine but i have to replace my front o2 as well.

my 2003 disco, has 99k miles and last year i did replace one of the front o2 sensors but is this common to replace all four sensors roughly in the same time period?

Default brake light on my 2003 disco

my brake light came on and was recently advised its electrical short in my instrument cluster panel i need to replace the entire unit.

my mechanic advised me the brake light on is not related to my shutter valve or low brake fluid or even replacing brake pads. does this sound right?

brake light on and needing to replace the instrument cluster?

now, i since i have owned my truck in the last four years i have never replace my brake pads. i know my rear pads are not oem land rover pads cause they are starting to make noise. my mechanic told me they are fine but i went to a dealer and was advised i need to replace my shutter valve and rear brakes. does this sound more correct than replacing the instrument cluster?

It is recommended to replace all 4 oxygen sensors at the same time. If you use a scanner it will tell you exactly which ones are the bad ones.

98% of all O2 codes on a Land Rover are due to the need of a tune up, that means new spark plugs and spark plug wires.
But you can only use 3 brands of plug wires, anything else will throw a trouble code.
Kingsborne, STI or Magnecore.
You will need to order them online.
