Default obd for a 95 disco

Hi all. I am trying to figure out what obd reader I need for my 95 disco. I searched the threads but found no direct reference to the 95 model. I also couldn't find it in the rave cd. Is it a obd 1 that I need? my service engine light came on and I want to figure it out myself.

Yes, a 95 has OBD 1.

... which means that a scanner won't work..

Use the OBD Readout that is under your passenger seat...

the codes can be found here:

thanks for the help. I also found out that the service engine light is different from the check engine light. It is a light that comes on every 52,000 miles to tell you to check the emission controls. There is a box under the seat next to the OBD reader where you can reset the service engine light. I am going to try it this afternoon, and will let you know how it goes. My reader is showing no codes at this time.
