Question To observe intake vacuum...

Hi.
Which place/port is more convenient to plug a vacuum gauge hose and observe the health of the engine ? Is there a 'mechanic-ready' 'diagnose-ready' dedicated place ?Any location you suggest ? A permanent gauge in the cabin would be nice too.
