guys...gotta problem...at idle i keep hearin this funny noise...kinda hard to describe...almost sounds like grinding...but only occurs in cold weather/ or when the motor is just getting warm...any ideas???

Could it be your starter bendix gear hanging up?
When it happens, turn off the engine real quick and restart it, is it still there?
