Default Help!!! Odd squeaking noise

Hey guys I was driving home this afternoon and my truck started to squeak. The sound is much like the sound you get from a broken muffler bracket (it isnt constant, its more like a vibration sound), however it only happens when I am accelerating. I did a test and put the truck in nuetral and gave it some gas..........no sound at all. Can anyone help me with troubleshooting. Thanks in advance.

If it is s D2, then check your front drive shaft, if the two u-joints that are in the constant velocity houing don't have grease fitting, you probably found your problem. If that is the case, don't drive it any more cause it will fail and a possible $7000 repair cost, well I shouldn't have to say any more.
Get back to me and I'll give you some repair options.

Sorry for the delay in replying,I have been out of town for the past couple of days. I am not sure what to be looking for under the truck (I am by no means a mechanic). Is there anysite that I can go to findpictures of what you are talking about discomike? Or, by the same token, what part of the car should I take a picture ofso that I can post it for you to take a look at. One other thing to mention about the noise is that it is not always there. Actually, the truck ismore often quiet. Regardless, I am going to letit sit till I find out more ...... the7000 jobhas got me spooked. Please get back to me.
