Default Odd startup noise

Looking around at listings for Discovery 2s and came across this one…Owner said it was fine when it was parked and now when it starts up it does this. Might go check it out this week but just seeing if anyone might have any ideas what this could be and if it’s worth the hassle or running away as fast as I can!

You might want to explain what you’re hearing. I for one won’t click on a link of any sort from a brand new member.

Kinda hard to explain but sounds like a fluttering of sorts and lasts for about 5 seconds then goes away.

I tried to attach the video but it was too large so I uploaded it to YouTube. Thought that would be easy for everyone. I understand your concern with me being a new member. If there’s another way for me to show the video that’s more secure, let me know.

@N.Hutch that is an exhaust,SAI pipe or head gasket, but I would walk away. The problem is it could be 100 fix or 3000 dollar fix, and I would bet higher.

But if it’s cheap enough and the rest of the vehicle is great…
