Default OEM catalytic converters or Hi-flow?

I've sourced an OEM y-pipe/cats for 370 new and am curious if I should just go with that, or if there is a good enough benefit to spending the same getting the magnaflows and having them welded in?

I figure the OEM will be nice to just unbolt and replace, but if it's really worth it I'll do the hi-flows.

My OEM cats are at 104K and stink. "Gotta go" time for those guys.

You wont net any more horse power buy using the highflow cats.

Spike,

Thanks for the reply. I didn't think there was much to do for HP anyway, but figured I'd ask. cheers!

I wasnt sure if you were trying to go for HP or not, thats why most people go for hi-flow exhaust, works on most cars, but not Rovers.
But if they are the same price...but then the bolt on and off has its pro's too.

You would have to get your ECM remapped (chipped) for high flow catalytic converters or headers to show much improvement in mileage or power.
