Default Off Road in Dallas

I just bought a 2003 Land Rover Discovery HSE7 and am itching to take it off roading. Can anyone suggest any places near Dallas?

What is the mileage on your truck?
Before you go wheeling make sure to inspect the front drive shaft's double cardon housing where it hooks to the t/case. If there are no grease fittings on the 2 u-joints in that housing get the u-joints replaced before you go play. It is very common for them to fail which can take your tranny out also for about $7000.

Does the warranty cover anything if you break it while offroading?

There is a grey area in the warranty that is left up to the service manager to decide if you were doing something you shouldn't have been doing , you will be out of luck.

Just remember Rover won't tow you in, especially if you are way off the road.

I think the poor guy just wanted to know if anyone knew of any trails near Dallas, not to be discouraged or freaked out [sm=icon_stickpoke.gif].
