I've always had BFG AT's. They're a great tire. They will last well over 50K miles, are great in the snow, on the street, in thedirt and pretty decent in the mud for an AT. For a land rover, I would get tall and skinney 'pizza-cutters'. Big wide tires just don't look right on a rover.

All,

Thank you very much for the advice . I am looking for a fairly serious off-road tire, but not one as serious as the BFG M/T or the Goodyear MT/R. Snow traction is also a BIG consideration for us in MN. Soooooo.......based on the great feedback ......Seems like the BFG KO's in a 245/75-16 8plyare the way to go, hands down.
