Off-roading in Greensboro/High Point??
Well, its official I will be living in High Point NC next year starting in august. Im going to be a student at High Point Univsersity and the Rover will be coming along! (Free parking for Freshmen!?!?!? oh yes.) I'm certainly going to miss the mtns here in Asheville, but im curious if there is any off roading destinations or clubs around the Greensboro/HP area??? Anyone from around there?
I've been told the Uwharrie Nat'l Forest is an awesome place to go, and its only about an hour away from HPU. I really want to build on this awesome hobby of off roading so if anyone has any recommendations, im all ears! (or eyes I guess...)

Het CamDisco - I've been to Uwharrie several times. It's nice, but crowded and not comparable to the mountains in Western Carolina. It will keep your off-roading skills sharp though, because there are some pretty technical trails. Go check out Old North State Land Rover Club and you can download a map of Uwharrie for free. Try this link:

I'm out about 1.5 hours from Uwharrie in Charlotte.
