Oh brother.....
When I did my injector change I just turned the key "on" to check for leaks & found 1 nicked o-ring.
Have someone else turn the key to "on", the fuel pump will prime, use a small mirror to look for the leak -- do NOT start the engine - the fuel rail press will stay high then, too
luck,greg

But it's the same line feeding the fuel rail, correct?
So, logically, if you turn on the pump, it'll pressurize the fuel system, thereby showing the leak.
Unless you know it's the line connector, in which case, Id still take a small mirror, inspect the hell out of it and probably take the o-ring to the hardware & get a new one of the SAME size - 75cents
Use vasilene to re-assemble so your don't cut the new one, if that's it
luck,greg
Thanks for the feedback greg. I'll get it all back together and then slide a mirror back there to see what's really going on. If it's not the connector, I don't know what else it could be or how I'm going to be able to see it.
Ok, I found the leak. When I crank the engine, the leak is not coming from the fuel line connector. It's coming from the Schraeder Valve at the top of the fuel rail. It's the metal tube that looks like a tire valve stem on top of the fuel rail. For those that don't know, an illustration is located on page 398 of the D2 Workshop Manual.
When the engine is cranked, fuel is pouring out of the Schraeder Valve. I don't know why it's leaking. Is there supposed to be a cap on the end of the valve. The end of the valve is threaded but I don't remember seeing a cap on it.
Any ideas?

Damn I was going to ask you if your shraeder was stuck but I figured that was pretty unlikely. It should not leak cap or no cap, the cap is just to keep dirt out. Try to spray it out with WD40 or PB blaster and work the valve opened and closed.
I haven't seen it shoot across the garage but it is coming out of the schraeder valve at a pretty steady rate when the engine is on. How do I work the valve open and closed? Mine doesn't appear to have a cap. Should I get one?
