Default Oil Change

Hello everyone,

I'm about to change oil in my 03 Disco II, SE7 but don't know what type of oil or filter to use.

The engine has about 55000 miles (or so) on it and I live in Northern California (near Sacramento) so it doesn't get very cold out here.

Thanks in advance.

I would suggest either 10/40 or 20/50 if you drive it hard, as for the brand, Castrol is one of the better oils unless you are thinking synteticc, then it would be Castrol or Mobil1.
As for filters eithe the Mobil 1 filter or my favorite the K&N 3001.
Good luck,
Mike

10w-40 should be a good weight for you to use. for the oil filter, i recommend either the mobile 1 m1-301, k&n 3001, or purolator pure one 30001. just dont use fram. theyre garbage!
