Default Oil cooler hose replacement on '96 Disco I

Hello! I just replaced the upper and lower oil cooler hoses on my '96 Disco I. It was real easy, messy but easy. I drained the oil from engine except filter and then removed and replaced the hoses purchased from Atlantic British. Total cost $200 and 1 1/2 hour work. The only delay was the small brackets that hold the hoses together there are two of them "Got it Done".

Dealer price $450.00 w/parts upon delivery from Atlantic British!

You can also have those hoses made at a shop or rebuilt at a hydraulic shop. Had mine done for $85.

The oil does come out. I drained the oil from the crankcase first except the filter then changed the oil upon completion. A little messy but worth the clean-up. Good Luck!
