Default Oil Leak

Where do you think the oil is coming from in this pic?

Facing from Passenger side. Right below header. Front of engine is black.

Valve cover and/or front of intake gasket. My bet is you have not done PCV mod, do that, clean off oil, report back. Oh, and tighten the outside valve cover bolts.

I have done the PCV mod. I degreased it and will finish tmrw. What socket is it again for the valve covers?

Oven cleaner is an excellent degreaser for that heavy cooked on grease. Purple power/Castrol super clearn is good but not as strong. Double check PCV functioning by putting a balloon or latex glove over the valve cover oil fill tube with the engine running, make sure there is suction not pressure.

It also needs to be either a deep socket or a 1/4" drive to be able to clear the sides of the wells.

I'm pretty sure it's 8mm, not 10, but this is from memory.

I stand corrected, it is an 8mm. Apologies.
