Default Oil leak after changing to synthetic fluid

First I would like to apoligize. I know that there have been many post on the usage of synthetic engine oils in theLandrover Discovery. After reading most of them Pro and Con I decided to use Mobil-1 5W-30W fully synthetic and the K&N 301. The oil change went off without a hitch as all have gone before usingusing conventional fluid. My Discovery or let me rephrase this My Wife's Grocery Getterthat she lets me use on the weekend is a 2003 late year serial number with 26940 miles. I would have to say that it hasless than 100 miles since the oil was changed. Yesterday we noticed a leak. At first glanceI thought it was coming from the oil filter. After further investigation the oil is comingthrough the weep holes between theback of theoil pan and front of the bell housing. It will be a coin toss between the oil pan gasket and rear engine seal. I just can notwrap my head around this one. Up until Sunday it has never leaked a drop of oil. Do you think there is any correlation between changing from conventional to synthetic fluid.Any help or assistance would be greatly appreciated. I hope you all know that I am under the GUN on this one.....

Try tightening the 2 bolts on each v/c gasket, a little more then hand tight.
Synthetic oil just doen't start leaking everywhere in such a short period of time.

Yes the oil leak is because of the switch to full syn.
The leakWILL go away, just give it time. Took my leak 10,000 miles to stop after I switched to Mobil 1.
Yours should stop sooner because your truck is not as old as mine.

synthetics at first will do a good job of cleaning the crap off the inside of your engine and subsequently it will weep or leak for awhile before things seal up tight again.

just stay on top of the oil levels and all will be ok.
