I mentioned last week in a post about wheel sizes that I wouldn't mind having a second set of 16 inch wheels for a set of strictly street tires for when I do cross country trips and save wear on my off roading set. Well, I won an auctionon Ebay for a set of 5 wheels with Michelin M/S tires with about 80% of the tread still on them. Since I plan to pick them up and avoid shipping I got them for $250! Not too bad, now I just have to explain to my wife why we need these tires; unfortunately in Houston I can't argue that they are for snow tires!

Those look pretty good however, for safety reasons as well as looks I would throw on at least two more lug nuts [8D]

 

Na, lug nuts are over rated. they just add weight which reduces MPG and your 0-60 times.

 

As you may know , those are from the sellers web page but you do have to wonder why he just had 2 lug nuts on it; perhaps he had tried to sell them off of the car and had no luck. Anyway, I have to go back to my other home in Atlanta and a drive up to NC is not too bad and I save $180 on his shipping them to me.
