oil light flicker

Call a shop and see how much they want to check it for you, might nly be a few pounds.

Well I've flushed out the engine using some off the shelf stuff.
put in some good grade oil and new filter and now there is no oil light flicker after long journeys and the oil light goes out after a couple of secs when starting from cold.
So may be it was just gunked up.
Cheers for the advice.
if it starts to happen again I'll get the oil pressure test done.

it was called 'Comma Petrol Engine Flush'
cheap and works well.
