Default oil pickup tube spacer

I took my oil pickup tube off about a month ago (03D2) to replace the oil pump and timing gears and am now putting it back together. I forgot how the spacer on the pickup tube goes. Does the spacer go above or below the metal bracket on the tube/strainer? I figure it is to space the strainer down lower, but don't remember and can't find a good picture anywhere. Also is there supposed to be a washer that goes above the nut on that stud? I put everything in separate boxes and labeled them, but don't see a washer in that box.
Thanks for your help, I'm trying to put it back together now so if there's anybody around to tell me how this goes. Spacer above bracket and touching engine or below bracket and against the nut?

It should go (top down) engine block, then spacer, then bracket, then bolt head.

I have mine out right now also. I can check when I get home if there is a washer.

Thanks, I appreciate it, yes check if there is a washer. I'm not finding one, so was going to put a little blue loctite on it. But looking at a diagram on rave or somewhere it looks like it may take a washer but, the diagram is so small I can't tell for sure. There is a flat surface like a washer welded into the bracket. Maybe that's all it takes?

No washer on mine either. Yeah, there is a flat spot on the bracket with dimples that looks similar to a washer, but it's all one piece.

Thanks, I'm putting the bottom end together tomorrow and want everything to be right. Good to know there is no washer. Cause I was thinking I lost something. I appreciate you taking the time to look.
