Default Oil pressure bypass valve stuck!

Hello All, just finished replacing my broken in three pieces oil pump on my 03 DII. Thanks to the forum for all the pointers on that project!

Unfortunately, I forgot to pull the oil pressure bypass valve while I had the cover off. In my attempt to get it loose on the truck and clean it out, I tapped it in hoping it would pop back out like the relief valve did on the drivers side. However, it didn't Now it's stuck down in there.

Any tips on how to get it back out without pulling the pan and t-cover again? I ran the truck to warm it up hoping the oil pressure would pop it back out, and it didn't. I could run it like it is but I'm sure the extremely high oil pressure when it's cold isn't good for it. Aside from the overly high oil pressure, any other bad things that can happen from having that valve stuck shut?

Thanks for any pointers!

I did yes... soaked it for a few days with penetrating oil while simultaneously crawling under there and applying heat with a torch. Eventually it popped back out. Turned a 5 minute job while the cover was off into a 3 day job with it on. Moral of that story is... do not forget to clean out BOTH bypass valves while the cover is off!

I am having the same issue but my cover is off the motor. Soaking in PB plaster as we speak. I am guessing I should replace the O Ring once I get it out?
