Default Oil Pressure Gauge

I am in the process of getting the parts for an oil gauge. I have a Glowshift sandwich adapter and an Auto Meter electric gauge; I had originally bought the Glowshift gauge, but the connector solder joints snapped when I test fit the connector, so I'm not thrilled with the quality there. I did, however, have a couple questions for the collective:

1) The sending unit is fairly bulky, and the instructions say to remote mount the unit on engines with significant vibration. Is this a concern for this engine?
2) I was planning on mounting this unit to the left of the dash; does anyone have any suggestions for mounting and wiring?

I would not worry about mounting the sneding unit to the engine, it shoudl be fine. I would just buy a standard gauge pod, paint to match, and put to the left of the instrument binnacle. You might even want to mount it to the binnacle.`

I would love to have a small digital oil pressure gauge for inside the car
