Nice dude, glad everything is ok. If you took the PS pump off you need to bleed the box. With the car running crack the bleeder on the steering box with a long extention and deep 11mm socket. (I think its 11mm)

Default Warning; Do Not Buy A Used Motor From Engine and Transmission World

If you are looking for a good used motor do not buy it from Engine and Transmission World; They are as crooked and a millennium in long. If you don't believe me just google them and read the reviews/complaints. They have a F- rating with the BBB. Crooked Bastards.

Hi adeso. I was reading this thread and all of the sudden you joined the discussion fully involved with this guys motor. I am just curious how that happen as I didn't read anything leading up to you taking over the project. Did you PM him when he asked if there was anyone close to his area that works on Rovers? Sorry to be off the subject but when I miss something I got confused and curious. Thanks.

That's a very good question, I wonder why RoverMasterTech didn't answer that. That question probably comes up a lot on 2003's.

And from reading I could never quite figure out; was this motor pulled or was it repaired with it still in the truck? Thanks.

I knew the guy and decided to help him. It was done with the engine in the truck. Due to poor maintenance the oil was sludge which caused the oil pump to fail. I dropped the pan, flushed everything with ATF put a new front cover/oil pump on it and it was good to go
