Anyone know if there any aftermarket high volume oil pumps for the 4.0/4.6 engines? or just the stock ones?

 

I have looked and never found one.

 

watched a good video on the hemi engines (5.7/6.2)...they have the lifter tick issue when they warm up at idle as well.

there are 2 aftermarket (melling & the hellcat demon) oil pumps for those engines that increase flow to 50 PSI at hot idle and apparently resolves this issue.

 

did you ever try valvoline 20W50 VR1? RPI in the UK said this is the proper oil for these engines. albeit in warm climates.
