I'll also go with ZGP on this, excuse the expression, but 'better the devil you know' as they will have a good handle on the best sourcing and deals stateside etc. It's OK to look at Rimmer and LR parts for ID purposes but I'm sure your indy parts dealers are far better sourcing and pricing than most UK outlets.

(quick, can anyone lend me a tin hat as I heard some incoming from across the channel )

if you want your own copy of the Microcat parts catalog you can install it yourself. How ever you will need Windows XP. I use Windows 7 and installed Oracle VMBox and installed a version of XP. Works Great!
