Default Ooops...to much splish splashing

Thought I would be cute and splash my buddy who was filmingbmy shallow creek crossing. Not such a good idea.

Probably not if there's a cylinder 6 misfire, the turbo diesels were only 5 cylinder models.

Its better now that it dried out but man did it run like crap after. The knock sensor is because someone cut the damn wire plug off it and removed the knock sensor itself.

I'm surprised (and sorry) that a little splashing is leading to trouble, I watched the video and it didn't seem worse than what you would encounter after a heavy rain- the D2 should be able to handle more than that! I once had mine up to the bottom of the headlights in a butt clenching moment in an off road park and even though I came out unscathed I'll never do that again!

@greisinb it was not the depth it was the speed, @cerpindicular going fast through water leads to problems. Check your coils, air filter and the area around the plug that are mis-firing you will likely find moisture. I have seen trucks literally die in the middle of water 6 inches deep just from going too fast, looks cool but not a good idea.

oh i know it was from me being an asshat and going fast. Just thought it was a little amusing. Havent had that problem really in long time. And that was in a old jeep with points.

I had taken it through much deeper just a bit earlier and it waa fine. It was the speed i hit it at and a few other minor things i need to address
