So i took my Disco down the creek. Through some higher stuff but not too high.well water came up to the bottom of the door and actually leaked in! ARGH! Now i have that smell of wet clothes in my car. i am letting it dry out now. It wasn't too much water. but does anyone know how to make the doors water tight?

Steve, you had better be more concerned about drying out your carpet, you will have a bunch of mold and smell unless you pull up the carpet, clean and treat it before allowing it to dry.
When you get ready to do that water crossing again, call me and I'll walk you thru sealing the doors.

Don't need to take it out, how far did the water get, can you just pull up the front seats and get some blocks under the carpet for air to circulate?

Steve,
It is easy to pull up the seats and throw bricks under the carpets. I had to do it and all of the smells went away. I think it did mine some good. There was baby puke and rotten milk in the back floor...(along with needles under the seats..)
