Default Opinion needed on grill guard

I saw one for sale and have been wanting one.

They want $300. Is that price fair?

It looks nice. How does it work when you have to replace the headlight bulb? do you need to take that off to remove the grill? If yes, save for the hd bumper instead.

I have the factory one made of plastic, with a similiar shape. Has the bolt on side headlight guards.
Side mount brackets are all gone.
Main brushguard bolts to bumper with 2 bolts.
Looks decent, needs coat of paint or bedliner.
I'm in south central Va.
Brushguard is free to good home, or any home!

You can get an HD bumper for about double that. If it were me I'd get one of those instead.

I have a black tube "nudge" or "A" bar like the OP posted. They do not have the headlight extensions to the side like a full brush guard.

I traded for it so I dont what what they are worth on the market. However you don't see many of them, I think they were made in the 90's for a few years or maybe even for a D1???

I consider it to be a guard against cracking my stock plastic bumper cover and it looks kind of cool and unique.

These were original on a few of the 01 and 02 models. Fairly rare. I think I will shoot him 100. Like a previous poster said, a heavy duty bumper runs 500-600 so I would be a dumbass to pay 300 for it. I don't care for the full wrap around model with headlight guards

I'm in south central Va, campbell county.
I got a pm before you replied from someone wanting the brushguard.
If I don't hear back from them today, it's yours if you want it.
