+1 my mom has a new toyota... moms love toyotas. my dad wants a disco now he rode in mine. haha.

i would say use dynomat or Noxudol that I suggested for sound deadening. I'm sure you could find some cheaper sound deadening sprays that you won't have to worry about fabric falling into the engine or air intake but i know the Noxudol will stand up to the heat and any other element you may throw at it. ie. water oil or any other fluid.

Pulled what was left of my hood pad out year ago.......no problems of note........

Hey Guys, I know this thread is quite old, but I'm experiencing the same issue with the hood insulation. It's not too bad, but it's sagging around the washer hoses, I think one of the hose clip is either broken or disconnected. I need to investigate further. But my question is: Are the clips the only thing holding the insulation to the hood? Or was it originally glued to it as well? Thanks!
