Default Opinions on a possible buy

Thinking about purchasing this vehicle:

Just wondering what everyone thinks? What I should be looking out for? etc?

Not bad. Looks fine to me. About right around the ball park.

Originally purchaser in CT and VA. Both use lots of salt on the roads. You gotta get underneath and go over the frame big time. 100k miles up here in CT is a lot of salt, plus it spent time in Vermont. Also registered at Camp Lejune, NC could have spent time on the beach there. So as I see see it, you could have salt from the roads in the North East (I live not too far from where this car was originally purchased) and possibly salt water from the beaches of NC.
Frame rust could be lurking big time.

Will be asking for pictures of the frame before I go check it out (roughly an hour drive)

I know it's petty of me, but that skull and crossbones kind of makes me assume it was owned by a 17 year old.

There is an old saying on Wall Street: " no deal is ever written for the benefit of the customer." same holds true for photos of the frame of a car being sold. I hate to say it, but you need to go down, crawl under every inch of that car with the brightest flash light you can find.

It's missing the V8 emblem off of the bottom corner (hinge side) of the rear door.
May be nothing, but I'de look for signs of it having been rear ended.

IIRC, my 2004 didn't have the V8 emblem. I don't think the 04's have them.

They do not. Mine has the DoD badge in place of the V8, but I’ve never seen the V8 on an ‘04.

My 04 didn't either(I put one on it), I didn't know they didn't have it.
It has a clean history (which only means nothing reported).
I could find no damage anywhere as to why it would have been removed, so makes sense.
My mistake, sorry for bad info.
