Options for transmission cooling hoses
Have any of you had lucky sourcing some transmission cooling hoses? They’re discontinued and I haven’t been able to find them anywhere, this DII is my winter daily driver and I need to put away my summer car asap. Any help is appreciated, thank you.
If it’s just the rubber ends and connectors you are taking about there are threads on here about getting new fittings pressed on the steel line at a hydraulic shop. The lines are no longer available.
You can make them yourself with flexible hose and barb fittings (hose shop, car performance shop, hardware store). I don't think there is a lot of pressure on the transmission fluid system. Anyway, I made engine oil cooler lines myself since I added an oil cooler. For the cooler connections I used 14mm compression fittings. The system runs at 50psi and has absolutely no leaks.
