Sichuan Tengzhong Heavy Industrial Machinery Co. of China is going to buy them. Just saw it on the news today.

Dang, that sucks. Hopefully they won't go totally under. Kinda makes me want to go buy a new Tahoe just to stimulate the economy.

Geez.. I hate it for those people. I can only hope that one day GM will thrive again.
The song "Shuttin' Detroit Down" is becoming more and more relevant...

What really sucks is that we are not far behind CA in running out of money.
Once all of these factories shut down those people will be on unemployment which we as a state are out of, we had to use our stimulis money to pay unemployment benifits.
On NPR they are telling people that if you have a job, namatter how bad that job, do NOT quit because you will not find another.

Forgot to add, Detroit is shutting off street lights in deserted parts of town to save money on electricity.

I also noticed a large silver sphere like emblem (or what appears to be one) on the front grille of the mystery suv in that Outback Steakhouse commercial. More than likely it is the Toyota but the Mercedes G-Wagon is almost as convincing.

A number of the Outback commercials use a 110. How do I know? My sister in law was the producer for the campaign. They modified it so they would not have to pay LR for trademark usage.
