So, you most likely have 2 non related issues, your drain tubes and the over heat.
What have you done to find the over heat problem and be specific?

Okay, here's the down low....I just bought the thing ( kicking self in the butt right about now )..I didn't check the fluids at the time (supposed to be my husbands job)....the first time I drove it more than ten miles, I turned right and hot water sprayed on my foot. A few minutes later, the temp shot up and the idiot light came on. I pulled over, cooled down, and opened the tank..empty. Filled it with coolant. No leaks, and still holding coolant, no apparent overheating since.

BUT, when I have been in the car for less than three minutes, if I turn right I get hit with hot spray of water. It IS just water..no coolant or oil in it.

Next time, start your own thread especially when we haven't even resolved the other guys question.

I'm also thinking of the Drain Tubes being clogged, and when you turn, the built up water (Now heated by the Sun in Texas) is finding a way out and onto your foot.
