Which tstat do you actually have? Same ones but returned 2 of them?

Replace your thermostat with a 180.
If the lower hose is cold your Thermostat is not opening

there were several thermostats circulating around our vendors they people are having issues with

get the warm weather soft spring from Atlantic British

He is not overheating
these are the right temps for a oem thermostat

But even with stock t stat that’s on the higher side.

His idle goes up to 222 so I’m guessing when driving it’s way lower.

My 03 on a stock thermostat when I bought it was hitting 225
