I don't want to just throw a radiator at it hoping that solves my overheating problem. Any other ideas or suggestions?

I'm finding it a little hard to beleive my radiator is the issue since I did not have cooling problems previous to the work performed. The reason I beleived the first 2 thermostats were not opening was because the radiator and lower hose to the thermostat were ice cold when at operating temp. The radiator flush helped slightly to bring the temp up in the radiator and lower radiator hose but still felt the issues was with the second thermostat not opening. The Land Rover soft spring thermostat is opening i beleive now that the radiator is hot throughout the core and lower hose.

The temps I see in the radiator core with a laser thermomater are 150-155f at inlet on drivers side and 125-130f at outlet on passenger side. Is this normal temp drop or is the radiator not cooling properly? This was checked with the Ultra Gauge telling me engine temp was 230f...is this normal to have such a temp drop from engine to inlet of the radiator...or is there another problem here???

Replace the Radiator.
They can be had at $300.
You'll thank yourself.
No use in toasting the engine.
230F is too hot

That temp differential is probably correct. But, should exit at 180F or so.
The way you are running - since the radiator can't cool enough, the thermostat is WIDE OPEN.

do you have water flow? not just hot water, is it moving? I did see one new water pump that the impeller fell off after few days.Truly a rearity but if it could happen once who knows.

Good point from Drowssap.
Remove the cap on the expansion tank
Near the top should be a thin stream of water flow from a purge line.
If that is not flowing with the engine ldling then there is ONE of your problems to correct.
