Default P0307

changed my plugs today to Bosch +4's and now am throwing code p0307 which is cylinder 7 misfire. Checekd the plug and wire. Pulled the plug back out and reset the wire. Cleared the codes, but still getting it and P0300 which is general misfire. Any Ideas?

I think I tweaked the boot when i pulled it loose. Going to replace the wires and see if that helps. Only getting the code 307 now.

It's an 02. I guess I'll have to get the wires at the dealer on Tuesday morning. No one locally has any after market. Can't wait for a shipment either.

The delearship I got it from has a 3 month bumper to bumper. They are going to fix it along with the window regulator and the door lock actuator. it's over there now. drove like crap, kept it under 35.

You don't really want to buy factory wires, they are expensive and don't hold up.
See if you can find one used wire to get you by and then order a set of 8mm Magnacor wires. I could get you to a group that would overnight them Tuesday.

Update - Plug in cylinder 7 had a small crack. Replaced it and cleared the codes. No more problems and running great. Going to save the wires and change them next go round. Dind't feel like taking the manifold off If I didn't have to right now.

Glad to hear all is well again. Try and change the wires sooner then later so you can get as much punch out of those new plugs.
