p0458 Code Question
Hey guys I notice if i leave my land rover out from the garage over night in the morning when I crank my engine i get the p0458 code, any ideas what could cause that.. I had it checked and it said to do the wires also the fuel pressure sensor/valve (cant remember which it was and i do not have list telling me what it is) could be bad, where is that sensor/valve and any idea how much it cost? or do i have to replace the whole fuel pump?
Also It only happens after a storm has gone through and my rover is out in the rain... WTF is up witht hat lol

Evaporative Emission Control System Purge Control Valve Circuit Low is what i means, I checked the wires on the fuelpump and they seemed good but I cant find the valve its talking about
Its on the charcoal canister , it controls the reburn of the gas tank fumes.
On mine its a dealer part only, sometimes you can unplug it and plug it back in and it will reset, (on a Disco I) if not call the dealer a Disco I runs $ 125 so not bad.

no. its your purge valve. if this is a series 2 you speak of, then its connected to your intake plenum on the drivers side of the engine, quick connect fitting right behind the throttle body. it can also be the wires going to it. and open circuit on the ground controll side to the ECM will throw this fault.
