Default P0705, p1612, xyz?

Due to getting stuck in 2.5 to 3ft of water and winding up in limp and now no start. I have check engine, four amigos and M&S. There is no LCD indication of the gear position, it only clicks when turning the key, and it will not release the key without disconnecting the battery. P0705 and P1612 are the codes I have pulled. I pulled the XYZ and opened it up and it looked fine. No water or dirt seemed to have entered. I lightly lubed the wheel with white lithium grease and sealed it up, reinstalled and no change. I have checked fuses and replaced the trans module. IS it time for a new XYZ or is there something else I should try first?

Thanks!

No. It was running the whole time. It drove home fine and went into limp the next day. Now no start. I did try repositioning XYZ to no avail. Also my SRS light is on.

Try to twist (rotate) both your battery cables, if you find one that you can twist it probably isn't making a good connection. I've seen this give the exact symptoms you describe more than a few times. (besides, it's real easy to check)

XYZ switch could be full of mud, can remove and open up, clean out, re-seal

I pulled XYZ and opened. Looked fine. Lubed with wheel with a light coat of white lithium grease and sealed with silicone on both sides of gasket. No change. Broke down battery contacts and reinstalled. No change. I need to get this thing started so i can continue with my list.

It looked nothing like this. As far as I could tell no water or mud made it in. Trans control module, now thats a different story. Replaced.

Look at this connector, it links tranny computer to solenoids inside the tranny. Above the XYZ area.
