The light service engine soon appears an disappears during the last week, I took my disco to scan to an autoparts shop and they told me it is only one code:

P0741: torque converter clutch solenoid

Is this a big deal?

Sure, it could be.
What year is the truck, how many miles on it and when was the tranny last serviced?
Is the truck driving OK, does it shift into all 4 gears and lock up?

 

It's 2000, have 125,000 milles; I bought the disco in May 2009 and still haven't don't the transmission service, the truck is driving OK. Actually I'm planing to do the transmission service ASAP.

What do you recommend me?
