I think the issue is the hoses that connect to the vacuum reservoir canister. Air flow in there is 1 direction ...as it's installed on the truck now, when facing
from the front looking into the engine bay, you can blow into the left side and it goes thru with a wee bit of restriction. Not the other way. The hose end
connecting to the left side is the elbow. Is that correct?

It has been a week now....no further SES light...driven probably 100+ miles. So...I'm HOPING that it was the small rubber boot that the line going from the vacuum reservoir to the throttle body that was loosey goosey. I put a zip-tie on it to secure it.
