Default p1481 help

Nothing in the rave manual and little in the forums about this code. Ultra gauge keeps throwing it. I gave the evap system a visual inspection. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Anyone have any experience with this code? Any guidance in the right direction would be appreciated.

How do you smoke test it?
What does the code mean? Is it telling me the pump is dead?

Try using Google, please in 5 minutes I found tons of references to this code :

One possible fix
It turned out to be that darn electric fan. Replaced it and the code never came up again.
Secondary fan in front of the radiator

I did consider that post and will check the fan. My confusion is because the code mentions "DMTL" so I assumed the code was coming from an evap component.

Condenser fan was seized. Got a used one and put it in. Still getting p1481. Replaced fuse and swapped relay. Still getting the code.

Are you aware of the fact that the codes need to be cleared? They don't go away on their own. That is required so that intermittent issues don't only appear when they are happening, but "hide" when you go try to resolve them. You want to clear it, then note the state of the truck when you run again. Cold, hot, do you jump straight on the highway or idle for half an hour before moving? This info can give clues about what might be happening if you haven't successfully solved it yet.
