There is a small spot on the front bumper where the clear is flaking off. Im not sure I am interested in having it professionally repainted. If the green base coat is there, can I just re-spray the clear? The base metallic green is dull, is that simply a function of the clear flaking off, or is the paint damaged and needs repainting?

I saw the higher quality, dealer matched rattle cans, but for that money, I am thinking it is a small jump to a professional respray of the bumper corner cover.
