Hi.
Is there any plate/sticker somewhere stating the factory body color, the extras fitted at factory, is it SE, is it 7 seater, styles, is it California, Canadian, European, SAI type, interior color... ?

 

All of that should be available through the VIN. Not sure other than that.

 

The paint code (3 numbers) should be on the inspection plate on firewall under the bonnet

Am unable to find any plate/label on the firewall, by the engine compartment. Additional clues are welcome.
Color on mine is sometimes named 'champagne'. What would be its color code; and, is there a published list of all colors ?

There should be a sticker on the radiator support. At least there was on early models of D2





Also, the VIN can be used at the dealer or by calling Land Rover North America to lookup what color you have.

I'd bet that if you have a 2000 that looks like champagne, you have White Gold. GTcarlot has White Gold listed for 2000 DII's. It's just not listed as metallic, pearl or metallic pearl.

Hello...I was wondering if anyone knew what color my new to me D2 is. It's a 99 D2 cloth interior. I think it's Niagara Gray, but not 100% sure. I can't find any paint code or other identifying plates in any of the locations pointed out earlier. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

 

Looks like Niagra Grey to me. The link I provided lists Niagra Grey as a color offered on DII's in 1999. Unfortunately, the site doesn't provide a photo of a DII in Niagra Grey. However, a simple search for "1999 Discovery Niagra Grey" will show you plenty of images of DII's in your color.
