Default Paint Damaged Disco Project

Sunny but windy day. We received the paint yesterday and finished painting the disco today. The fender and door was purchased from ebay with different colors. Tomorrow, my son and I will try to restore the bumper cap. Paint was exact color ordered online.

Looks pretty good to me! What size tires are those? Lift or no? Looks a lot like mine did at stock height with 265/65s. Nice looking rig.

I think you should get more Gloss Clear Coat 1:1.5

With the end cap, I dremelled with cutting tool to scrape about an inch around the crack in the back and used JB Weld epoxy. If you have to apply bondo, make sure its completely dry before prime it before the color coat or it might bleed through the paint or the patch work will show in time.
Sand the original paint with 800 then use base coat. Spray several coats and sand it with 2000 until minor paint dusting is smooth to touch. Apply clear gloss when totally dry. Run 2000 again then buff or buff without sanding lightly.
