Park Distance Control Retrofit (2004 SE)
Hey all! Just got a my 04 D2 about 2-3ish weeks ago! Have been really enjoying it a ton! I was doing an inspection and while I was under the rear, I noticed my car is already wired for PDC (sensors and wires already run) but I don't have the control module or button. Would it be as simple as adding a control unit and button in order to enable this feature? I don't have any LR specific diagnostic/dealer tools but I saw that there are a few tools equivalent to ISTA in the BMW world or PIWIS in the Porsche world. Would I need to get one of those types of tools in order to code in and enable the PDC? I'm pretty comfortable with the size of the rig already but my wife likes the idea of having some aids for when she drives the truck. It'd be great if I can add PDC just to help her out while she's getting used to the truck.

Thanks for the rec. I'd like to keep an OEM appearance if I can so I might just try adding the module to see if things just work. If not, I can always resell it or only be out about 120 bucks for a used module. All the pigtails are already there in the trunk cubby so maybe I'll be lucky and it'll just work haha.
