Default Parking Distance Controller PDC

Is it true that every Disco II is prewired for the Parking Distance Controller?

Have a 2003 SE7 that I am about to release a femaile teenager in and I think she could use all the help I can get!

There is some wiring but thats only one of many parts you need. I have seen the whole OEM kits go for over $500 on ebay which is insane. You will also have to drill holes in the rear bumper for the sensors. Might be best to check out some aftermarket solutions.

Put this on my Vette has saved me a lot of MONEY. I am sure it will also work on the rear end of a Rover.

I dont think they are prewired. My PDC horn just died and I tried to get another thru Paul Grant. He told me that in all the D2's he has parted out, he has never had one with the PDC. My d2 is an SE if that helps. From what I have found out, the ECU is $400 and each sensor is not cheap either. Oh, btw the horn is $40

Not a PDC, but the previous owner installed a cheap wireless backup camera. The monitor is stuck by the lighter at the end of the console. When backing up, it shows a distance graphic and how close you are to obstacles. Wireless makes it a lot simpler to install.

Something like this:
