Default Parking lights not working

I just purchased a 2002 DII and the parking lights on the drivers side stopped working. The head lights, turn signals, brake ligts all work fine. The bulbs are good but no power to the sockets. Any suggestions?

Also, the service engine soon lights is on. It just rolled over 82,000 miles.

Have you checked your fuses????? # 11 a 10 amp.
Go get your codes read, write down the 4 digit fault code numbers and get back to us with them. Many auto parts stores will read them for free.

Remove the drivers side rear tail light and look for corroded wires/connections.
The drivers side tail light on DII's is prone to leaking and then the water inside corroding the wiring and causing all kinds of problems.

I checked te fuses and they are all ok. I will check the tail light again. If the tail light has a problem how does that affect the front marker light?

All of the lights on the left side run off the same circuit and all the lights on the rightr side run off the same circuit.
So a problem anywhere on the left will effect everything on the left but not the right.
