Default Part number for Hayden HD fan clutch?

I see many recommendations for upgrading to the HD version of the Hayden fan clutch for my 00 Disco. I went to Haydens site, but its god awfull generic lol. Google search came up with 2991 for the clutch but the descriptions read "severe duty". The Hayden site only mentions that the pitch angle of the fans (which doesnt make sense, because I dont see any of these being sold WITH a fan to begin with) and the "land and groove" area is different for the severe and heavy duty.

Can someone clear this up for me? Thanks all!

Go with Heavy Duty, not severe duty. The Severe engages at slightly higher load to engine and mpg suffers. In engaged or normal positions, still should feel resistance, it does not "free wheel" at normal position.

New water pump if slapping this on an old tired one.

My waterpumps about 2 years old but I drive less then a few thousand per year so I should be good lol...

Is it part number 2744 for HD with a/c though? That comes up for a 4.3l V6 chevy express van? The dimensions listed are different too...

Yes, that sounds good. Now about your shocks... in New Jersey (pot hole capital) don't you need to swap them every other oil change?

Anyone know if that 2744 HD chevy express one will fit? Rock said they can't varify whats not listed as an application... and I already barely manage 10mpg as it is no reason to throw a severe duty on haha.

nah shocks are good, the 285s fill most of the holes pretty well... its the new york benny trash you have to be carefull about speeding around and blowing stopsigns and stopping in the middle of the road to have conversations and lack of blinker awareness and the constant blowing of hornes and.... ahhh my blood pressures going up, gotta sit down for a momment.

errr thats a no go then... damn... so its OEM or severe duty only for Disco IIs without modding? actually, the bolt holes on the plastic fan been to be enlarged in other words? that might be doable, I just have a bad habbit of ruining things and having to buy replacements haha. also noticed though in a sticky that you need a NON AC unit, but its also referring to a DI... is it the same case? If so, they dont list a non AC heavy duty either :/

AutoZone sells a direct replacment for the D2 and p38. IIRC the D2 was about $70 and p38 one was a little more expensive.
